Will you join our team?

The Tall Ships Races 2022 would not be possible without our many volunteers. This year, we are still looking for hundreds of helping hands to join us in keeping everything running smoothly.

During the event, dozens of beautiful ships and their colourful crews will moor up in Antwerp. More than 500,000 viewers will flock to the city centre. Young and old will be immersed in the maritime atmosphere. They will enjoy beautiful ships and a vibrant festive programme. Will you help make this year’s event an unforgettable spectacle?

Why take part?

As a volunteer, you will gain some unique experience in organising a large, international event. You will experience everything up close and meet new friends from home and abroad.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for volunteers for a range of activities:

• Stewards: will you keep an eye on everything and help ensure a safe event?
• Stage hands: would you like to roll up your sleeves and help with the construction and dismantling of the event?
• Eco-Warriors: are you keen on nature? As an eco-warrior, you will help keep our squares clean.
• Reception: are you a smooth talker and would you like to help the visitors and ships’ crews on their way?
• … every little helps!
