The Tall Ships Races are not just a festive event – they are the largest competition for sail training ships in the world. Every year, this is an exciting event for the ships’ crews and for the thousands of trainees.
Trainees are young people between the ages of 15 and 25, with or without sailing experience. On board, they learn new skills, come into contact with other cultures and work as a team towards a common goal.
