Liaison officers
Registration for Liaison Officers is unfortunately closed. The team is now complete. Experience, the size of the team and the number of ships were considered during selection. If, highly exceptionally, any places become vacant, we will first look at the existing reserve list to find replacements. New applications from individuals will no longer be processed.
You are of course very welcome to come along as a visitor while the event is taking place from 11 to 14 July 2026. In addition (and if applicable), you can volunteer through an association, but not as a Liaison Officer. More information about volunteers during The Tall Ships Races can be found below.
Volunteers
Yes, but only through an association. Are you a member of a youth movement, sports club or another organisation? If so, you are very welcome to volunteer! At this year's event, you cannot participate individually as a volunteer, because we will not be able to insure you.
The events agency Balthazar Events is coordinating the work carried out by volunteers. Register your association by email at tallships@balthazarevents.be.
Yes. We provide a flat fee to boost the club's coffers.
Trainees
Unfortunately, the places for the Antwerp Crew are all taken. Would you still like to sail on board during The Tall Ships Races? If so, please get in touch with Windseeker or STAB.
